The weekend of Sat 18 May / Sun 19 May will be a very important one for the clubs summer season. The club has a double header with the first FORTH VALLEY LEAGUE match on SAT 18th at LIVINGSTON and the second YDL match on Sun 19th at KILMARNOCK. The club will very much rely on athletes being available for BOTH matches .
The u13/u15/u17 age groups yesterday took part in our very first Youth Development League (YDL) meeting yesterday at Kilmarnock.
The club competes in Division 2 and did very well yesterday placing 4th overall out of 8 teams . The athletes competed very well in all the events they competed in but it did show up that for this competition we need to be able to fill all the events in all the age groups to boost the overall team result . We therefore need as many athletes as possible available for this meeting.
HOWEVER – this cannot come at the detriment of the FVL match on Sat . We compete in Division 1 and to with only 6 teams in division 1 we need to be careful to retain that status and be able to fill that team also .

SO PLEASE MAKE ATHLETES AVAILABLE FOR BOTH MATCHES IF POSSIBLE.

Fixture RSVP’s have been issued for the FVL teams – please reply promptly. If you haven’t received one , please let us know.

YDL fixture RSVP ’s will be issued in the next couple of days .
