Dunfermline Track & Field / Pitreavie AAC Joint Club Championships

24 Feb 2019 by David steel

The Joint Dunfermline T&F / Pitreavie Club Champs is held at the start of the summer season and this is a new initiative for both the clubs and we require as many athletes from DTF to compete as possible – no matter your ability or experience. This is a low key in house event to increase athletes experience of competing and allow coaches to guage officially timed performances against progress as the season goes on.
The event will be held on Saturday 6th April 2019 at Grangemouth Stadium.
ENTRIES WILL GO LIVE SOON ON ENTRY CENTRAL
https://www.entrycentral.com/paac_dun_clubchamps

NOTE as a condition of entry all U11-U17s must provide a volunteer to assist, We cannot run this event without volunteers. This will be for a maximum of 2 hours at the event.
Results from the Club Champs are used to aid team selection in the first league matches as it gives Team Managers a guide to current form, especially with newer athletes in the club. It is therefore important to enter your best and most favoured events.
The maximum number of events for all age groups is five and the type of events athletes can enter depends on their age group:
Under 11s 100m, 600m, long jump, and shot putt
Under 13s 1 run, 1 jump, 1 throw plus any other event
Under 15s 1 run, 1 jump, 1 throw plus any other event
Under 17s 1 track, 1 field and any other 2 events
Under 20s 1 track, 1 field and any other 2 events
Seniors 1 track, 1 field and any other 2 events
Masters 1 track, 1 field and any other 2 events
At the lower age groups it is encouraged to enter the maximum number of events.
To be Club Champion you must have competed in four events.
The Scotstat performance tables will be used to allocate points to the athlete’s result from each event. The points for all four events will be used.
Pitreavie AAC and Dunfermline T&F will have seperate scorings (so champions in both clubs).
In the event of a tie, the athlete who scored the highest number of points in an individual event will win.
The cost to enter the championship is £10 for the four events. U17 up to Senior may wish to use this event as an Open Graded style format (so not enter the championship) at a cost of £3.50 per event. Costs include the transaction fee of 50p paid to Entry Central.
