With the club AGM fast approaching on wed 20 Feb, the club is in need of a Treasurer and a few new committee members.
After a number of years in the position our excellent treasurer Fiona Kennedy has decided to stand down at this years AGM.
Fiona has done a brilliant job in organising the Treasurer position and everything is recorded on spreadsheets created by her and just about all payments are done electronically by online banking and through the TEAMapp.
Fiona assures us that the job does not take up a great deal of time and is straightforward.
The treasurer position is an essential position within the club and it cannot operate without one – therefore we would very much appreciate if a parent can give up a bit time to help the club and become the new treasurer. Fiona will give full training and will be available to help the new person.

As with all things – time marches on and many of the current committee are parents of older athletes within the club. It is therefore desirable that we can add some new members to the committee preferably parents from athletes in the u11 & u13 age groups that can represent the younger ages and provide a bit of continuity going forward. Again contact me on presidentdtfc@gmail.com if you think you can help. Again it is not a time consuming position with around 6 or 7 meetings in the year.

As always – the club needs parents to help and step up to these positions or the club cannot operate – which affects the kids and young athletes. Please consider helping out so we can continue the clubs great progress of recent years.
